Aimie Book login

My customer went in and registered online to fill out 4473. It let him register but when he tried to bring up a list of FFL dealers I was not listed even though I went in and registered as an FFL dealer. Did we miss a step?

Thank you for your post. When searching for an FFL Dealer on Aimiebook.net it is important to click the FFL Dealer button under the search. If you do not click the FFL Dealer button under search it will default to search for members/customers and not FFL Dealers. We have checked the search and your Dealer profile is listed as an FFL Dealer under the search. Please advise your Kiosk customer to do the following:

Click on the Search Icon at the top toolbar on Aimiebook.net.
Check the button next to FFL Dealers.
Click the Update Results button.

The Kiosk FFL Dealers will all come up.

Click on the Dealer they are searching for.
Click on the Launch 4473 in the Dealers profile.
Complete the 4473 information.

Also, when giving your customers the URL to use your profile for the online 4473, give them the web address that comes up when you are in your profile. Example: www.aimiebook.net/32. The number after Aimiebook.net is specific to your profile and will take your customers directly to your profile.

I'm confused a bit. David, reading this and a few other posts....are you saying this has been approved for customers to fill out the 4473 off premises and submit????? I thought it was only to be used in store.

Thank you for your post. The customer can submit their information as a pre-application to the 4473 using Aimiebook.net if they have a Member Profile. They are not submitting a 4473. They are simply providing information that will be used when the 4473 process takes place at your store. The 4473 is executed only when the customer appears in person, dealer verifies all information, checks identification, performs a background check, adds the firearm(s), etc.
