run-time error 70 permission denied, trying to update version 2.0.0.3 on vista home premium

i have the globe in the upper right corner of the screen. when i click on it it shows this error and then shuts down. i am running version 2.0.0.3. my operating system is windows vista home premium. please help. i enjoy using this program and don't have any problems but this. thank you in advance. i will keep checking back for your response.

Thank you for your post. When you miss several updates AIMI eBook Pro will no longer update as the database is constantly changing with each new update and new features. AIMI eBook Pro is now at version 8.0.0.3.
Your database must be sent to Coloseum Software for a manual update by our Engineers. Please call our Tech Support Line with your Support ID Number for further instructions on sending the database.

hi, i have AIMI eBOOK Home not Pro. i should have said that in my post. i hope you can help me fix this i need to do some work with it and want to get it updated first. please help? thanks in advance.

Thank you for that information, a Permission Denied error usually occurs when you are not logged in the computer as an Admin, its denying the updates because you do not have rights.
Also, your security settings can also deny permissions.

hi, i am the admin on this computer. if my security settings are keeping me from updating, then how can i get it updated? thank you for your help with this issue. please help me get this updated. thank you for your help in advance. thanks marcus
