Correct serial# on 4473

How do I correct a serial#on a 4473 that has been disposed? We found thru inventory that an incorrect serial# was written down on 4473, when I disposed this gun, I in turn, disposed the same (wrong) serial#. The 4473 is dated May 2, 2010. How do I edit the 4473 now?
